1) Public Institution Educational Debate Centre

EDC is a non-profit non-governmental organization established in 1999. It is a part of the wider network of debate organizations working under the umbrella organization International Debate Educational Association (IDEA).

EDC works for the creation and the development of an open democratic society through encouraging the young generation of Lithuania to become socially aware and critical citizens. Activities of EDC include seminars and workshops for teachers, supporting the development and creation of debate clubs at schools and universities, organizing public debates and coordinating various national and international projects for youth.

2) Debate programme at The School of International Studies of Peking University

Debate programme of Beijing University is the pioneer organization in promoting English Parliamentary Debating in China. It provides regular trainings for students to develop their critical thinking skills and cross-cultural understanding. The programme leaders organize debate trainings and other related events, and bring Chinese students abroad to meet their peers in other parts of the world. The programme is successful in integrating debating into the classroom at the School of International Studies. The majority of the activities are prepared with special focus of High School and University Students and are conducted mostly by young teachers and debaters who are under 30.

3) University Debating Society Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

University Debating Society of Chulalongkorn University is led by Assistant Professor Piyanart Faktorngpan who holds an MA in Applied Linguistics (Lancaster University, England). She has taught English at Chulalongkorn University Language Institute (CULI), Thailand for more than thirty years and is now an Advisor on International Affairs at CULI and on Academic Affairs at Go International with English Language School, Continuing Center, Chulalongkorn University and is the Mentor and Advisor of Chulalongkorn University Debating Society, Office of Students Affairs, Chulalongkorn University. The objectives of the Society are to spread debate as a method of learning and a tool of understanding of multicultural differences.
